  I believe everything posted made a ton of sense. But, what about this? what if you wrote a catchier title? I am not suggesting your content is not solid., however what if you added a title that makes people desire more? I mean BLOG_TITLE is a little plain. You ought to look at Yahoo's front page and see how they create news titles to get viewers to open the links. You might try adding a video or a pic or two to get people excited about everything've got to say. Just my opinion, it would bring your website a little livelier.
